Country Villa Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a Charge Nurse (LPN) for a full-time day shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM). You will lead nursing staff, coordinate resident care, and ensure compliance with physician orders and care plans.

The ideal candidate is an LPN with Missouri licensure, SNF/long-term care experience, and current BLS/CPR certification. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available for eligible new hires, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
• Active LPN license in Missouri.
• SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead a nursing team and prioritize resident care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing care during the assigned shift and ensure high-quality care.
• Supervise and support nursing staff during the shift.
• Provide and oversee resident care according to physician orders and care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Assign CNA duties, resident assignments, and breaks.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Monitor residents and report changes to physicians and families.
• Lead shift huddles and communicate updates to nursing leadership.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and incident reports.
• Promote infection prevention, resident safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet resident needs.
• Assist with surveys, inspections, and facility quality initiatives.
