Job summary

PPC Partners seeks a Lead Technician, Low Voltage to supervise and perform installation, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cabling and low voltage systems. The role blends hands-on work with leadership to keep projects on time and to quality standards.

You will coordinate with project managers, mentor technicians, enforce safety protocols, and maintain customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with codes and internal standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• 5+ years in HVAC control systems installation with team supervision.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic).
• Familiarity with local building codes related to HVAC control systems installation.
• BICSI Certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Review and process work plans in advanced; coordinate tools, equipment, and materials to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Work with Project Managers and other departments to ensure installations are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Mentor low voltage technicians; ensure safety, efficiency, and high quality.
• Install low voltage systems and structured cabling per codes and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members; perform on-site inspections.
• Complete post-installation documentation and coordinate for final inspections.
• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction through professional service and clear communication.
• Maintain documentation and inventory of tools, materials, and equipment.
