Job summary

Wachter is seeking a Low Voltage Lead Foreman Technician to oversee large commercial and industrial installations nationwide. You will lead crews of 6-15 technicians and coordinate data, voice, alarm, video, and paging systems.

The role requires strong field leadership, blueprint reading, safety training, and the ability to work onsite at heights. Wachter offers competitive pay and exceptional benefits, including 401k, health, and per-diem when travel is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Low Voltage Cable Technician in industrial/commercial space (1M–5M Sq Ft).
• 5+ years as a Lead/Foreman in commercial environments.
• Data cabling with CAT6, fiber optics, 24V and 70V paging experience.
• Knowledge of CCTV, Fire, Security and Alarm systems is a plus.
• Experience reading blueprints and site maps; OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews of 6-15 technicians with daily instruction and training.
• Install, terminate, and test Cat6 and fiber optic cables per scope.
• Install, align, and test IP cameras; troubleshoot network issues.
• Read blueprints, ensure safety compliance, and manage closeouts (MDFs/IDFs).
• Coordinate with GC IT professionals and other stakeholders; report progress to PM.
