Next Level Technician in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Lead Low Voltage Technician to support commercial projects across the Dallas area. The role involves leading field installations, installing and testing Cat5e/Cat6 cabling, and coordinating with project managers and customers.

Pay is $25–$30 per hour and depends on experience. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of low‑voltage experience, can read blueprints, and lead crews with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial low‑voltage experience.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling and low‑voltage systems.
• Experience installing/terminating Cat5e/Cat6 cabling.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Experience leading crews or as Lead Technician.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Reliable transportation and standard technician tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform commercial low‑voltage installations.
• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot Cat5e/Cat6 cabling.
• Work with access control, CCTV, security, data, and other systems.
• Read blueprints, site plans, and construction drawings.
• Lead technicians and provide hands‑on field guidance.
• Ensure installations meet project specs and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot cabling and low‑voltage system issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, customers, and field teams.
• Track project progress and communicate jobsite updates.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
• Complete projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.
