Stake Center Locating is seeking an experienced Lead Locate Technician to supervise and organize locate technicians, ensuring precise underground utility identification and project accountability. You will mentor the crew, manage tickets, and uphold safety standards across field operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, equipment familiarity, and effective customer communication to support successful locates for clients in the Henderson, NV area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to locate utilities and perform investigations.
• Excellent communication with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: perform damage investigations and audits.
• Ride along with crew members and support field operations.
• Team Management: distribute tickets and maintain equipment.
• Mentor and lead locate technicians; enforce safety standards.
• Communicate with customers and contractors to address concerns.
• Conduct technical learning on locating equipment and methods.
