Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean background for access to restricted and/or controlled areas.
• Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass random drug screens and to remain drug free.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to locate.
• Ability to effectively perform a PDR or damage investigation.
• Ability to interact with all involved, the public, customers, contractors and all those under their direction.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance: Perform damage investigations, audits, ride-alongs.
• Team Management: Manage ticket distribution, vehicle and equipment upkeep, recruitment.
• Team Leadership: Mentor locate technicians, lead crew meetings and reporting.

The optimal candidate will have the responsibility of aiding, supervising, and organizing the tasks of locate technicians as instructed to guarantee precise and efficient identification of underground utilities. In the role of Lead Locate Technician, you will be pivotal in project management, mentoring team members, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance

  • Conduct audits (including Field Safety Audits)
  • Execute ride-alongs with crew members

  • Upkeep of vehicles (issues and maintenance)
  • Manage equipment and supplies (including issues and distribution)
