Job summary

Colonial Group in Hibbing, MN, is seeking a team leader to join its industrial laundry facility. You will supervise loading operations, train staff, and coordinate production flow with management to ensure safe and efficient processing.

The role requires adapting to shift schedules (including weekends) and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs, push/pull heavy carts, and work in a noisy warehouse. Benefits and vacation accrual are detailed in the posting.

Qualifications

• Understand training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to meet attendance schedule.
• Shift work and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in load building and production tasks.
• Train others to excel in performance.
• Coordinate production flow with management.
• Build loads one day ahead and follow load-building guidance.
• Identify and segregate mats not meeting quality standards.
• Monitor and report shortages to supervisor.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and follow safety best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
