Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Senior LO Mission Systems Integration Engineer in the United States to lead design, integration, analysis, testing, and production activities for low observable materials and sensors in mission systems.

You will apply computational electromagnetic (CEM) solvers to model antennas, apertures, radomes, and LO treatments; drive integration with mechanical, thermal, and sensor constraints; mentor juniors and deliver results on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical) or related field.
• 9+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years' experience with LO materials and technologies across integration, design, manufacturing, and/or testing.
• Active Top Secret Clearance; ability to obtain Special Program Access.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, modeling, and analysis for LO materials, coatings, structures, and integrated mission systems.
• Apply CEM solvers (FEKO, HFSS, CST, WIPL-D, xFDTD, etc.) to model antennas, apertures, radomes, and LO treatments; optimize designs.
• Drive LO integration with mechanical, thermal, and sensor/antenna constraints; mitigate producibility and testability risks.
• Plan, execute, and oversee lab and field tests (anechoic chamber, antenna/radome characterization, RCS).
• Develop and validate predictive models; reconcile simulations with measurements; provide recommendations to leadership.
• Produce test plans/reports, memoranda, design reviews, and customer briefings.
• Mentor junior engineers; ensure adherence to processes, quality, and configuration control.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated system solutions on schedule and within cost.
