AMN Healthcare partners with Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (NJMS) to recruit a Liver Transplant Anesthesiologist for a unique academic leadership role in the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Care. The successful candidate will help grow New Jersey's first liver transplant program at University Hospital in Newark and mentor residents and junior faculty.

Qualifications
- Fellowship trained in anesthesiology with subspecialty in liver transplant preferred.
- Experience in cardiac anesthesia and high-acuity cases required.
- Interest in academic medicine, teaching, and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership in liver transplant anesthesiology within a major academic center.
- Mentor residents and junior faculty and contribute to curriculum development.
- Lead academic initiatives, quality improvement, and clinical research in transplant anesthesia.
- Deliver anesthesia for high-acuity liver transplant and selected cardiac cases with no overlap of services.
- Develop and execute the strategic direction of transplant anesthesiology at Rutgers NJMS.
