Job summary

Stryten Energy in Alpharetta, GA seeks a Manager of Systems Engineering to lead technical projects related to lithium battery products, guiding system-level planning and lifecycle implementation.

You will manage Applications and Systems Engineers, drive DVP&R, FMEA, design for manufacturability, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver robust, cost-optimized solutions. On-site daily, reporting to Senior Director of Lithium Products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• MBA or MS in electrical engineering/systems engineering preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in product development, systems engineering, and product design.
• 5+ years leading technical projects and engineering teams.
• Experience with lithium battery design, power electronics, or energy storage.
• PMI certification, Lean/Six Sigma, INCOSE preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams, negotiate effectively, and manage conflict.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning and drive design verification plans and FMEA.
• Oversee cross-functional engineering teams to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate with manufacturing for design for manufacturability and serviceability.
• Develop clear product definitions and translate them into system requirements.
• Own project communications, risk tracking, and stakeholder updates.
• Provide technical leadership across commercial and military programs.
