Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Manufacturing Engineering team at the large-scale Li‑ion battery operation. You will guide process development, layout planning, and equipment oversight to deliver high performance cells and efficient production.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in engineering with 5+ years of leadership, strong analytics, and hands-on collaboration across disciplines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or materials engineering or related discipline.
• MS or PhD in a related engineering field preferred.
• 8+ years engineering experience in manufacturing, product development, or design.
• 5+ years of leadership experience; strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Manufacturing Engineering team direction and performance.
• Interview, hire, train, and evaluate team members; plan and direct work.
• Research and develop new battery manufacturing processes.
• Design, layout, and oversee equipment for battery manufacturing at scale.
• Analyze procedures and equipment to reduce time and cost; develop control systems.
• Ensure safe, compliant Li‑ion cell manufacturing processes.
