Calspan Corporation is seeking a Principal Systems Software Engineer to design and develop Linux-based software solutions for the Data Acquisition and Control System (DACS) in jet engine testing. The role emphasizes system performance optimization, cross-functional collaboration, and technical leadership. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably with skills in C, C++, and Linux. This position is on-site in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $180,000 per year, along with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in computer programming or a related field.
• Valid driver's license and passport required.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, design, and implement software tools and systems for DACS.
• Identify and resolve performance issues within the DACS environment.
• Work closely with engineers to develop new features for the DACS.
• Provide technical leadership to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Implement software solutions on Linux for measurement hardware.
• Maintain documentation of software architecture and configurations.
