Job summary

Genesis10 seeks a Platform Engineering & Operations professional in Chandler, AZ for a hybrid, 12+ month contract. You will lead administration and optimization of Oracle Enterprise Linux environments, implement SRE principles, and drive automation with Ansible to build resilient, self-healing systems.

3 days onsite weekly is required. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Linux admin, strong OEL knowledge, and experience with HA, virtualization, and storage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Linux administration in enterprise environments.
• Strong Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) expertise.
• Experience with high availability, virtualization, and storage management.
• Hands-on automation with Ansible and SRE-informed practices.
• Scripting in Bash or Python; robust troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration, monitoring, and performance tuning of OEL environments.
• Oversee design, build, and lifecycle of Linux servers, storage, and virtualization.
• Manage HA configurations, clustering, and load-balanced setups.
• Define and implement SRE principles, including SLOs/SLIs and error budgets.
• Drive infrastructure automation for provisioning and configuration management.
