Job summary

Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino is seeking cooks to prepare and finish foods during assigned shifts, adhering to recipes and standards. The role involves interacting with guests and fellow team members in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include supervising line cooks and other kitchen staff, ensuring health and sanitation compliance, and maintaining consistent attendance. A high school diploma or GED and some cooking experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred and one to two years’ experience as a cook’s apprentice in a large, full service hotel or restaurant preferred.
• Food safety certification may be required or preferred.
• Ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Supervise line production staff to ensure compliance with company specs and standards.
• Prepare, season, finish, and garnish all food following established recipes.
• Work with team members to run a smoothly planned shift.
• Maintain health and sanitation standards per state and federal laws.
