Job description

We are seeking a skilled Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Lead Line Cook will be responsible for preparing items following our recipes and guidelines. The Lead Line Cook will help lead the line, following directions of the chefs. This position requires attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishes.

Duties:
  1. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring
  2. Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  3. Follow recipes accurately and maintain food preparation processes
  4. Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  5. Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Skills:
  1. Knowledge of food safety guidelines
  2. Experience as a cook in a similar role
  3. Ability to work well in a team setting
  4. Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  5. Proficiency in menu planning and meal preparation
  6. Familiarity with catering practices
  7. Attention to detail and organizational skills
  8. Ability to handle knives and other kitchen equipment safely
