Job summary

Starwood Hotels seeks a dedicated Cook II to join our culinary team in a fast-paced hotel kitchen. You will prepare dishes per recipes, maintain high quality ingredients, and assist in daily kitchen operations to ensure guest satisfaction.

You will work closely with the sous chefs and other kitchen staff, upholding sanitation and safety standards throughout service. The role requires the ability to multitask, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Proficient in verbal and written English communication.
• Food Handling certification (can be obtained during employment).

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to recipe specifications and ensure daily culinary operations run smoothly.
• Maintain high quality ingredients and plating standards.
• Coordinate with Sous Chef and kitchen staff to manage specials, inventory and cleanliness.
