Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification within 3 months of hire.
• Requires American Red Cross Lifeguard certification before hire date.
• CPO/AFO license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lifeguards and pool attendants; manage rotations and replacements as needed.
• Maintain pool safety by enforcing rules and monitoring activities.
• Keep incident records, chemical readings, and daily logs up to date.
• Provide customer service by answering inquiries and directing patrons to the right areas.
• Instruct swimming programs for preschool to adults; support water safety education.
• Attend mandatory training and coordinate with Aquatics Management staff.
