Qualifications
- Licensed veterinary technician with current state licensure.
- Minimum 2+ years of clinical veterinary experience.
- Degree from AVMA-accredited program preferred or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians to ensure quality care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
- Train, coach and supervise a team of technicians and assistants.
- Assist with surgeries and monitor patient status during procedures.
- Maintain medical records and communicate health information to clients.
- Use safe restraining techniques and keep treatment areas clean and sterile.
- Mentor fellow team members and support hospital operations.
