Job summary
Veterinary Specialty Center Seattle, a Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner, seeks a Licensed Veterinary Technician to lead our Specialty Department teams in Lynnwood, WA. This full-time role directs technicians, assistants, and coordinators across Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Imaging, Oncology, and Cardiology.
The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in specialty medicine, strong clinical skills, and proven leadership.
Qualifications
- Licensed Veterinary Technician in Washington State with 4+ years of Specialty medicine experience.
- Strong anesthesia, venipuncture, IV catheter and critical care skills.
- Proven leadership, coaching and team motivation abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing demands.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Specialty department teams, including technicians and assistants.
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workflow across Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Imaging, Oncology, and Cardiology.
- Drive performance, safety, and quality patient care.
- Partner with Hospital Staff Manager and leadership to align goals.
