Job summary

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa- Bloomingdale is seeking a Lead Licensed Massage Therapist to provide exceptional massage therapy services and to lead the team. You will partner with Spa Management to uphold service excellence, mentor and coach, support onboarding and training, and promote a culture of teamwork and guest care.

This role requires a Florida license, 2+ years’ experience, strong technical knowledge of modalities, and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Massage Therapy License in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional massage experience.
• Strong knowledge of massage modalities and body mechanics.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality massage therapy services in accordance with Florida law and Hand & Stone standards.
• Delivers exceptional guest experience that promotes client retention, memberships, and referrals.
• Mentors and coaches the Massage Therapy team on treatment quality, professionalism, guest communication, and best practices.
• Assists Spa Management with onboarding, training and development of Massage Therapists.
• Aids in identifying coaching opportunities and performance improvements.
• Encourages collaboration between all levels of staff to enhance guest experience.
• Maintains treatment rooms, equipment, linens, and supplies in a clean, safe, and organized manner.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation, safety, and state licensing requirements.
• Assists in resolving guest concerns professionally and promptly.
• Participates in meetings, training, and spa events.
• Leads by example in professionalism, punctuality, accountability, and teamwork.
