This high-responsibility editorial role blends shaping modules with maintaining a strong quality bar, as Level builds from scratch and moves toward scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning design, or curriculum development.
• Background in learning science, child development, or comparable grounding.
• Interest in keeping up with current research in learning.
• Strong product and creative sense with emphasis on coherence and user journey.
• Comfort making early rough calls and surfacing wrong calls.
• Ability to uphold a quality bar and provide actionable editorial feedback.

Responsibilities

• Deeply understand each skill in the curriculum and translate it into clear design direction for designers.
• Concept learning experiences with designers, shaping games and narratives that teach effectively.
• Break down a skill into components and techniques, using AI to generate first passes and refine with experts.
