Job summary

Labcorp in Madison, WI is seeking a Principal Investigator / Bioanalytical Lead Scientist I to join our LCMS team. The role leads scientific work, serves as study director for GLP, GCP, and non-regulated studies, and ensures milestones are met with high-quality data.

You will develop and review protocols, validate methods, manage client programs, mentor staff, and collaborate across groups to drive compliant, timely results. Monday–Friday day shift with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biology required.
• 3–4 years leading scientific projects for external methods.
• 2+ years GLP and LC-MS experience; 2+ years bioanalytical method development and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific work to support external methods and projects.
• Serve as SD/RS/CS/LS/PI for GLP, GCP, and non-regulated studies.
• Ensure client programs meet Labcorp, client, and regulatory milestones.
• Develop and review protocols and sample analysis plans.
• Review data with the development team to ensure validation readiness.
• Deliver high-quality data and reports on time.
