Job summary

Boar's Head Resort seeks a Laundry Floor Manager to oversee daily production on the laundry floor, coordinating sorting, washing, drying, finishing, and distribution to support guest experience.

You will lead teams, monitor metrics, ensure safety and quality, train staff, and collaborate with Housekeeping and other departments to meet demand while maintaining a clean, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in commercial laundry, hospitality laundry, manufacturing, distribution, or production operations.
• Experience managing high-volume production or assembly-line operations preferred.
• Strong leadership and employee coaching skills.
• Knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and production processes preferred.
• Ability to analyze production data and improve operational efficiency.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production or inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily laundry production, ensuring timely processing of all resort linens, towels, uniforms, and specialty items.
• Manage production flow through sorting, washing, drying, finishing, folding, and distribution.
• Monitor production volumes and adjust staffing to meet daily demand.
• Ensure assembly line efficiency while minimizing bottlenecks and downtime.
• Establish daily production goals and monitor performance against key metrics.
• Maintain quality standards for all finished products before distribution.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Spa, and other departments to prioritize production needs.
• Train employees on equipment operation, quality standards, safety procedures, and productivity expectations.
• Conduct routine inspections of finished products.
• Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance with Engineering and equipment vendors.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production environment.
• Monitor linen inventory and production supplies.
• Assist with inventory counts and purchasing recommendations.
