Job summary

RXO is seeking a Lead Last Mile Operations to coordinate with site leadership and oversee home delivery services. You will lead a team of 15–20 warehouse material handlers to receive, pick, and process orders daily.

You will leverage metrics to identify improvement areas, train staff, and dispatch contract carriers to meet performance goals. Strong leadership and communication are essential, and lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 15–20 warehouse material handlers to receive, pick, and process orders daily.
• Leverage operational metrics to identify improvement areas and create actionable plans.
• Train material handlers to meet performance goals for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day.
• Partner with the Operations Manager to identify problem areas and restructure routes.
• Train and develop contract carriers, dispatchers and warehouse personnel to meet customer expectations.
