Job summary

The Cliffs is seeking a Landscaper II in Sunset, SC to supervise a crew performing property maintenance, landscaping, and irrigation repairs. You will lead tasks, train crew members, and manage work orders while ensuring safety and quality across projects.

Ideal candidates bring 3-5 years of grounds/maintenance experience, ability to operate a range of landscaping equipment, and a focus on timely, high-quality results.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in grounds and/or facility maintenance including equipment operation and trades work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize projects, assign work tasks to crew members, maintaining written records of projects.
• Lead crew and perform maintenance tasks to keep properties healthy and visually appealing.
• Instruct employees in proper methods, monitor quality, ensure safety, and provide performance feedback.
• Perform and lead crew on general maintenance tasks for properties under contract. Seed, fertilize, and applying chemicals may be performed on occasions.
• Lead crew in planting shrubs and flowers, trimming trees and shrubbery, and related landscape tasks.
• Operate equipment such as weed eaters, hedge pruners, blowers, hand tools, and mowing machines.
• Perform equipment maintenance checks and report malfunctions to the mechanic.
