Job summary

Colleague. in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Landscape Project Manager to oversee commercial landscape construction from pre-construction through final completion. You will manage schedules, budgets, field teams, vendors, and client communications to ensure projects are on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has leadership and organization skills, reads plans and specs, and ensures safety compliance. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s in CM/LA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial landscape construction or project management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial landscape construction projects from start to finish.
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, manpower, equipment, and material coordination.
• Supervise field teams, subcontractors, and vendors for efficient execution.
• Read and interpret plans, blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
• Monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance on site.
• Coordinate with clients, property managers, architects, and internal teams.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with company quality standards.
• Procurement and scheduling of materials, plants, irrigation components, and hardscape products.
• Prepare updates, change orders, and progress documentation.
• Identify and resolve project challenges proactively.
• Monitor labor productivity and project costs to maintain profitability.
