Job summary

Village Gardener is seeking a hands-on Construction Foreman in Jackson, WY to lead 2–6 crew members on landscape projects from layout to final walkthrough. You will read plans, operate equipment, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining quality and safety.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in landscape leadership, solid equipment operation skills, and a drive to train and grow with the team. CDL is a plus; strong communication with PMs and clients is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in landscape or construction leadership.
• Proficiency in hardscape, grading, and equipment operation.
• Ability to read and understand plans and site layouts.
• Clean driving record; CDL a plus.
• Strong leadership, accountability, and pride in work.
• Willingness to train, grow, and uphold standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2–6 crew members on landscape construction projects.
• Manage daily site operations: materials, schedules, safety, quality.
• Read and interpret plans and blueprints.
• Operate skid steers, excavators, and related equipment.
• Communicate progress with project managers and clients.
• Resolve issues to keep jobs moving and on schedule.
• Track time, materials, and progress with accountability.
