Mariani Landscape is hiring a full-time Crew Leader for our Westmont, IL location. The role oversees landscaping crews, assigns tasks, ensures safety compliance, and provides ongoing training to improve skills and performance.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience in a similar industry, strong safety knowledge, and excellent communication. This position requires a valid driver’s license and may involve outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a leadership role, preferably in landscaping or similar.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in organizing and prioritizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work activities of the crew.
• Assign tasks and provide guidance and support to crew members.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Train new crew members and provide ongoing training.
• Monitor and report progress and issues to management.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards or safety concerns.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues during the work process.
