Job summary

DeHamer Landscaping is seeking a Construction Landscape Foreman to lead on-site teams in installing landscapes, grading, drainage, and retaining walls. You will oversee daily production, safety, craftsmanship, and crew development while coordinating activities and communicating with clients and management.

You will manage 2–5+ crew members, read project plans, operate equipment, train staff, uphold company values, and ensure work is completed on schedule and to quality standards in outdoor

Qualifications

• 2+ years of landscape construction experience with emphasis on softscape work.
• Experience leading a crew or foreman role preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, grades, and elevations.
• Experience operating landscape construction equipment.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid organizational and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage a landscape construction crew of 2–5+ team members.
• Read and interpret landscape drawings, layout plans, grades, and elevations.
• Plan and coordinate daily job-site activities to meet project plans and schedules.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.
• Train crew members in installation techniques, equipment use, and job expectations.
