Job summary

SRF Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to join our Minneapolis office, supporting projects across Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. Candidates may be based in Minneapolis, Fargo, or Madison, with a strong preference for Madison.

This is a hybrid position with options for full-time in-office or part-time in-office and remote work. Responsibilities include leading right-of-way plats, parcel sketches, and ALTA surveys; managing projects from kickoff to delivery;

Qualifications

• Experience with Trimble equipment and software preferred.
• Proficiency in Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation.
• Proven project management leadership from planning through delivery.
• Experience supervising and developing team members.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation of right-of-way plats, parcel sketches, and ALTA surveys.
• Own projects from kickoff to completion, driving execution and results.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and client communication, pivoting as priorities evolve.
• Plan workloads with Group Leadership, optimize staffing, ensure deliverables.
• Mentor team members with hands-on support and quality control.
• Build and strengthen client relationships through proactive communication.
