Job summary

Texas Oncology in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a Laboratory Services Supervisor to lead a moderate/high-complexity lab. This on-site, Monday–Friday role 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

supports patient testing, compliance, and daily operations, with no weekend, call, or major holiday shifts. The ideal candidate has an ASCP certification, a clinical laboratory degree, at least five years of testing experience, and prior supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Medical Technology or related science; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum five years of laboratory testing experience.
• ASCP or equivalent certification is required; state licensure if required.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as working general supervisor for the laboratory.
• Performs routine tests and develops knowledge of more complex tests as needed.
• Supervises laboratory personnel.
• Schedules laboratory personnel and oversees day-to-day testing and reporting.
• Establishes and monitors QA/QC, proficiency testing, and maintenance policies.
• Interacts with nursing and clerical teams to ensure smooth operation.
