Job summary

TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Tennessee is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to lead nursing teams and coordinate high-quality, patient-centered care across the unit during shifts. Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment start date.
• STABLE certification within 6 months of employment start date (RN).
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) within 30 days of employment start date.
• 2 years of L&D RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit.
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork for improved outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Implements nursing strategies such as hourly rounding to improve engagement.
• Assists with interviewing, selecting, training new staff, and performance evaluations.
• Helps with staff scheduling and labor management according to patient care needs.
• Assists with inventory control and equipment management.
