Job summary

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, production operations, and zero-downtime architectures.
• Strong experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines at scale.
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn modern data engineering and lakehouse concepts (Iceberg, transformation frameworks).
• Strong SQL skills and ability to optimize queries for performance and cost.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration with BizOps and non-engineering teams.
• Ownership mindset: deliver systems from design through operation.

Responsibilities

• Scope and lead large, ambiguous technical projects to evolve and scale early-stage products.
• Own and operate Kubernetes infrastructure (EKS) and the Porter orchestrator.
• Apply Kubernetes best practices: resource management, health checks, autoscaling, and rollout strategies.
• Tune deployments for zero-downtime releases and high availability.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable delivery.
• Contribute to observability, alerting, and incident response across the platform.
