Job summary

Southern Live Oak Wellness is actively seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations in a behavioral health setting. You will manage meal preparation, ensure safety, and lead a team to deliver nutritious, properly portioned meals in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and experience in both culinary operations and team management. A strong focus on compliance and quality will be essential to success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of behavioral health kitchen experience preferred.
• Active ServSafe Certification required.
• HACCP Certification required.
• Experience with scratch and batch cooking production.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Board of Health regulations and GA guidelines.
• Maintain active ServSafe and HACCP standards.
• Supervise kitchen staff and coach on policies.
• Prepare meals and snacks per menus and nutrition guidelines.
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, and food ordering.
