Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the culinary heartbeat of the store, overseeing all kitchen operations with precision and purpose. You will guide a team to deliver high‑quality, fresh meals and compassionate hospitality, while maintaining cost controls and brand integrity.

This role blends hands‑on cooking with leadership in a fast‑paced environment. You will manage inventory, training, sanitation, and guest experience, ensuring all dishes reflect the Alltown Fresh

Qualifications

• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification required within 90 days
• 18 years or older
• 3–5 years in high‑volume foodservice with 1–2 years leadership
• Strong food safety, sanitation, and cost control knowledge
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to train, motivate, and lead a diverse kitchen team
• Passion for local sourcing, fresh ingredients, and hospitality
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Oversee all kitchen operations for quality, consistency, and efficiency
• Prepare and present menu items according to standards
• Lead daily prep and production with focus on freshness and flavor
• Develop and inspire a culinary team with craftsmanship and collaboration
• Maintain portion control, presentation, and timing across menus
• Monitor and achieve sales, margin, expense and labor targets
• Hire, train, and mentor kitchen staff to Alltown Fresh standards
• Promote a positive, inclusive, high‑performing kitchen culture
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and allergen procedures
• Maintain compliance with health standards and daily sanitation
• Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of goods
• Monitor food and labor costs to meet budgets and minimize waste
• Track prep levels, waste logs, and daily production
• Forecast business volume and menu demand
• Ensure dishes reflect Fresh, Local, and Honest Food
• Represent the brand with hospitality and professionalism
• Seek opportunities to elevate quality and consistency
