Milwaukee Burger Company in Appleton is seeking a Kitchen Manager/Chef to lead a fast-paced scratch kitchen. You’ll drive food quality, safety, and guest satisfaction while building a strong, collaborative team under a growth-focused culture.

Lead from the front, mentor Line Cooks and Prep Cooks, manage costs, and uphold our Wisconsin hospitality tradition. If you’re passionate, hands-on, and ready to develop talent, we’d love to meet you.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years kitchen management in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience managing labor, food costs, inventory, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily kitchen operations with a focus on food quality, safety, and consistency
• Coach, train, schedule, and develop Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Dishwashers
• Lead by example by working alongside your team during service
• Maintain food, labor, and operating costs while achieving financial goals
• Oversee inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, and product rotation
• Ensure recipe execution, portion control, presentation, and ticket times
• Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and health department standards
• Build a positive, accountable culture centered around teamwork and growth
