Job summary

HOODZ International is seeking a Lead Technician to oversee and perform cleaning of commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods and ductwork, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You will lead field technicians on job sites, document work, and maintain high-quality service for clients.

The role emphasizes on-site leadership, training new technicians, and maintaining equipment and safety standards across shifts, with a focus on delivering thorough, compliant cleanings.

Qualifications

• Experience-based on-site field leadership and technical cleaning tasks.
• Willingness to work night shifts and variable hours.
• Ability to pass background and drug screens; physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform cleaning of commercial kitchen exhaust systems incl. hoods, ductwork, fans, and filters.
• Inspect for grease buildup, fire hazards, and operational issues; ensure compliance with standards.
• Supervise technicians on-site; assign tasks and enforce safety and procedures.
• Train new technicians on equipment, cleaning procedures, and safety protocols.
