Job description

HOODZ of NW Florida is looking for quality Lead Hood Cleaning Technicians in Baldwin County, AL and Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties in Florida.

$15-20/hour based on experience, plus potential to move to percentage pay with a higher earning potential. Base starting pay is $15-16 per hour during training. Will move to $18 once in a lead position.

Hours are primarily overnight (start and end times range from 8pm to 6am) from Sunday to Thursday, but schedule will vary. Hours worked are typically less than 40 hours per week. Lead Technicians will pick up the assigned HOODZ truck and drive to multiple sites during the shift.

Job duties include:

• Power washing of restaurant kitchen exhaust systems including hoods, duct work, filters and exhaust fans.
• The set up and take down of all job sites and equipment including wiping down of stainless steel hoods, setting up wet/dry vacuums, high pressure hoses, pre-sprayers, ladders, hanging plastic sheeting, etc.
• Independent completion of work projects without supervision.
• Maintain equipment, reporting any mechanical deficiencies.

Skills / Requirements:

No prior kitchen exhaust cleaning experience is required; however, a background in plumbing, mechanics, repair, or HVAC is a plus. Training will be provided.
