HOODZ of Central Texas is looking for an experienced Lead Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician to join our Dallas–Fort Worth team.
We provide commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning and maintenance for restaurants and commercial kitchens across Texas.
Our work is about more than making equipment look clean - it is about properly maintaining the entire exhaust system and reducing the fire hazard created by grease accumulation.
This is a working Lead position for someone who already knows the trade, can work independently, and is ready to take responsibility for the quality and completion of the jobs assigned to them.
The BarKitchen exhaust cleaning experience is required.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work and understands that good enough is not good enough when the job is protecting a customer's business and reducing a fire hazard.
This role is measured by results, not effort or intent - and that covers the whole job, not just your own hands-on work.
Passing means the job holds up: no callback, no rework, code-compliant on the first pass - and a Helper who is actually improving under your direction, not just present.
The HOODZ standard is the standard.
We are not looking for someone who decides to do things their own way because they believe it is better.
We need someone who can follow an established process, recognize when the work is not meeting the standard, and correct it without being told.
You should be the type of person who:
The Lead Technician is responsible for the overall outcome and completion of the jobs assigned to their team and the development of their team.
You will:
This is not a supervisory position where you stand back and watch someone else do the work. You will be expected to work alongside your team while leading, teaching, and taking responsibility for the final result.
We are building a team of people who want to master their trade, develop their leadership skills, and build a career.
Strong Lead Technicians have opportunities to continue developing within the company, whether that means growing as a field leader or eventually moving into other areas of the business.
