Southwest Montana Veteran's Home in Butte, MT is seeking a Cook to lead food preparation, work closely with dietary staff, and ensure meals meet federal and state standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Food Handler Certification, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and have cook experience; prior Skilled Nursing Facility work is a plus. On-site position with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Food Handler Certification.
• 1 year of cook or similar experience preferred.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Timely meal preparation according to posted schedule and menus.
• Maintain proper meat handling and storage procedures.
• Ensure temperature logs and cleaning schedules are completed.
• Collaborate with dietary director and staff to support food functions and standards.
