Job summary

Valley Home Renovations in Shelton, CT is seeking a Working Foreman to lead job sites in kitchen and bathroom remodeling. The role splits time between on-site work and project coordination, guiding 4–6 active projects and ensuring quality standards.

You’ll oversee daily field activities, coordinate with subcontractors, and communicate with homeowners while the owner handles sales and design. This is a full‑time on‑site position with year‑round work and a company vehicle after the intro period.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of residential remodeling carpentry
• At least 2 years running jobs or crews
• Kitchen and bath remodeling experience including cabinet install and finish carpentry
• Able to read plans and work orders
• Valid driver's license, reliable truck, and own hand tools

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day work on every active job from start-up through closeout.
• Do hands-on carpentry including demo, framing, cabinet install, trim and finish work.
• Meet inspectors on site and check material deliveries against the work order.
• Be the homeowner's on-site contact, provide daily updates and pass change requests to the owner for pricing.
• Hold every trade to our quality standard, keep sites clean and safe, and close out the punch list before turnover.
• Send a short end-of-day report: progress, problems, and what's needed tomorrow.
