Cabinet IQ of Knoxville is opening a state-of-the-art new showroom in the Knoxville area and is seeking a talented, detail-oriented, and experienced Kitchen & Bath Designer with a background and deep understanding of cabinet and countertop design to join our team in the May - June 2025 timeframe.

The Kitchen & Bath Designer will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen and bath designs for clients. If you have a passion for interior design and enjoy working with customers to bring their dream kitchens to life, providing a 5-star experience, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Actively pursue new business opportunities and qualify inbound leads.
2. Manage and update CRM with contact details and notes.
3. Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers.
4. Interpret client design requests and work with them to establish an initial budget.
5. Conduct in-home consultations to measure, discuss preferences, and provide expert opinions.
6. Design solutions that showcase Cabinet IQ products and services.
7. Deliver accurate designs and proposals, addressing purchasing concerns promptly.
8. Initiate cabinet and countertop orders, providing documentation to operations.
9. Provide exceptional customer service through responsiveness, clear communication, and a client-centric approach.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years experience in kitchen and bath design.
2. Strong knowledge of remodeling trends and products.
3. Proficiency in design software, specifically Design 2020.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Experience in account management and outside sales is a plus.

Job Details:

• Full-time position with a highly competitive salary plus uncapped commissions, targeting an annual compensation between $50K-$75K+.
• Supplemental pay includes bonuses, commissions, and uncapped earnings.
