Job summary

The Lead Coach at Zippy Squirrels is the primary instructor responsible for delivering fun, high‑quality sessions for children aged 3–12. You will oversee class execution, ensure safety, and mentor assistant coaches to foster confidence, strength, and a love for movement.

As an energetic, organized leader, you will manage class flow, deliver engaging curriculum, and uphold brand standards while supporting scheduling and program execution.

Qualifications

• Experience leading youth fitness, sports, or group activity programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and group‑management skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire children in a high‑energy setting.
• Knowledge of basic fitness principles and safe movement patterns.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• NASM or ACE Certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferred.
• Reliable, organized, and confident in managing groups of children.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging fitness classes for children ages 3–12 with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Demonstrate proper form, technique, and safe movement.
• Deliver structured lesson plans and adapt activities for ages and skill levels.
• Mentor Assistant Coaches and provide real‑time feedback.
• Ensure class flow, transitions, and station management.
