Mission Pet Health invites applications for a Lead Kennel Assistant position at Butler Creek Animal Hospital in Kennesaw, GA. You will be the primary caregiver for boarding and hospitalized guests, ensuring daily care, feeding, and exercise, while supporting the medical team.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must have or be pursuing a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care to boarding pets and hospitalized patients, including feeding, watering, and exercising.
• Handle check-ins/check-outs, record feeding/medication instructions, and ensure pets go home clean and happy.
• Walk kennel area to check for abnormal activity and report issues to doctors.
• Administer medications and flea/tick control; record instructions on the kennel medication board.
• Clean and disinfect cages, runs, yards, etc., using PPE to control infectious diseases.
• Provide extra TLC playtimes, walks, or baths on request.
