Job summary

Diamond Peak Recruiting client in San Francisco seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead K-12 and public works construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver on schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of construction PM experience, preferably with a general contractor.
• Experience with K-12, public works, education, civic, or institutional projects is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Review plans, contracts, subcontracts, and project requirements.
• Lead meetings and communicate with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and payments.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to stay on schedule and budget.
• Oversee subcontractor and vendor performance and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with Superintendents and field teams to ensure quality and safety objectives.
• Maintain owner relationships and primary contact for the project lifecycle.
• Support estimating and preconstruction activities, including constructability reviews and value engineering.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and public-agency requirements.
• Drive closeout, warranties, turnover, and punch list completion.
