Responsibilities

  • Plan practice and game schedules with the athletic director and principal and disseminate information to players and parents.
  • Coach participants to develop sport skills for high-level achievement.
  • Assign managers and duties and oversee safety conditions of facilities during practices and games.
  • Maintain statistics, records, and results; enforce discipline and sportsmanship.
  • Coordinate attendance and travel for away games and off-season conditioning; ensure compliance with policies and laws.
