Job summary

Feldkamp Enterprises, a Marsden Holding Company, is seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team on commercial projects. You will work on jobsites assigned by the Project Manager, troubleshoot plumbing systems, and deliver high-quality workmanship.

You will mentor apprentices and helper staff under the field foreman and collaborate closely with the foreman on material needs and scheduling. The ideal candidate has a valid Journeyman license, OSHA certification, and proficiency with hand

Qualifications

• Must have valid Journeyman License.
• OSHA 10 or 30 Certification.
• General understanding of hand tools (tape measure, pipe wrenches, hammers, screw drivers, etc.).
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner at all levels inside and outside the company.
• Must have the ability to work with, train, and lead Apprentices and Helper level staff members.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvents, caulking or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
• Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
• Review blueprints and building codes and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
• Lead and train small crews of apprentices and helpers as required or assigned.
• Coordinate with field foreman on needed materials and supplies.
• Install vent, storm, sanitary, gas, and water piping systems and extend piping to connect fixtures and plumbing to those systems.
