Job summary

We Power America is seeking experienced electricians for our Raleigh/Durham, NC projects. Foreman and supervisory Journeyman levels are especially needed to lead teams on high profile commercial and industrial installations.

Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems; reading blueprints; ensuring code compliance; and coordinating with engineers and other contractors to complete projects safely and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience as journeyman electrician preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues with appropriate tools and methods to resolve problems quickly.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for installations and upgrades.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Provide on-call support for emergency electrical repairs.
