Job summary

We Power America in Tulsa, OK is seeking experienced electricians for commercial and industrial settings on high-profile projects. Foreman and supervisory level Journeyman candidates are especially encouraged to apply.

Positions include full-time hours with overtime opportunities and strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship. All benefits are paid by the employer, including health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Experience as an electrician in commercial/industrial settings.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Familiar with lockout/tagout safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, including wiring, panels, circuits, motors, and equipment.
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues using a range of tools to diagnose and resolve problems.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations and upgrades.
• Upgrade and modify existing electrical systems as needed to meet requirements.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout, to ensure a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other contractors, engineers, and team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Provide on-call support for emergency electrical repairs.
