Kline Electric Inc in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Commercial Journeyman Electrician to supervise apprentices, ensure safe, code‑compliant completion of projects, and serve as the on-site contact for customers. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate material needs with the Project Manager, and uphold company policies while maintaining site safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical experience.
• Journeyman Electrician license (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be insured under company vehicle policy.
• Strong verbal communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise helpers/apprentices to ensure efficient workflow and task completion.
• Ensure all work is performed safely, meets code compliance, and is completed on schedule.
• Act as the on-site liaison between the Project Manager and customers, handling inquiries and resolving issues.
• Coordinate material needs with the Warehouse Director and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site.
• Follow all company policies, especially regarding vehicle use and job site conduct.
• Interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
